Limons
Rémi Guerrin / David Brunel
Limons is the first monograph by photographer Rémi Guerrin.
Rémi Guerrin photographs the world around him with great freedom.
The primitive processes he uses (pinhole photography, cyanotypes, carbon prints) allow him to make his feelings more accessible and visible.
A patient observer of countries like Vietnam and the cities he travels through, a portraitist of intimacy when he photographs his children, the artist reveals himself to be both contemplative and descriptive. Bathed in a particular intensity of light, the smallest fragment of matter seems transfigured by the economy of his photographic means and the ancient techniques with which he creates his unique contact prints.
