To winter there<\/em> <\/em><\/strong>is a visual story inspired by Louis Jolliet\u2019s expeditions (1645-1700) through North America, which he explored throughout his life until his disappearance at sea. Nearly three hundred years later, Charles-Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rick Ouellet set off in the footsteps of this forgotten figure along the rivers that flow inland. His photographs unveil two opposite territories, one in the southern United States towards the mouth of the Mississippi, the other in northern Quebec where the Labrador Sea imposes itself.
