Laurent Kruszyk / Florence Levillain
Users agree to be photographed in Parisian public baths, allowing us to discover these little-known facilities, most of which date from the interwar period and are still in use today. Thanks to the demanding work of Florence Levillain and her close collaboration with Laurent Kruszyk, photographer for the Île-de-France region, this book rehabilitates these places and opens the doors to public baths: from architecture to life stories, from urban planning to intimacy, from rituals to building typologies.
