Christelle KIRCHSTETTER
Christelle Kirchstetter est directrice de l’École nationale supérieur d’art et de design de Nancy depuis septembre 2019. Elle était directrice de l’École des Beaux-arts de Nîmes depuis 2013 et est co-présidente de l’Association nationale des écoles supérieures d’art et design publiques (ANdÉA) depuis mai 2018.

En construction brings to a close a ten-year cycle of documentary photography workshops on the Artem campus led by the École nationale supérieure d’art et de design de Nancy (ENSAD Nancy). The workshop was directed by photographer and ENSAD Nancy teacher Andrea Keen.
Each year, students documented the evolution of the site and the urban landscape: from the initial demolition phase to the completion of the construction and development program, the aim was to document the evolution of the site. Since 2007-2008, successive classes of students have taken turns to continue and contribute to this mission, which has now spanned a decade.
